David Baum is a consultant in investing at Fernweh Group. Before joining Fernweh, David has had a variety of investment and technology roles. Most recently, he served as VP of Investment for Aero Capital Solutions (ACS), a private aircraft equipment leasing and trading firm. While at ACS, David managed the team responsible for the underwriting, management, and liquidation of the firm’s aircraft investments.
Prior to ACS, David was at Dell for 9 years, serving in Corporate Development group. While at Dell, he served as a founding team member for the relaunch of Dell Ventures, completing $200M in 30+ transactions covering seed to late-stage development. Early in his career, David worked in a variety of information technology roles for the Financial Accounting Standard Board and Mckinsey & Company.
David holds a BA from Boston University and an MBA from the University of Texas.
