Dan Flynn joined Fernweh Group as President, General Counsel Secretary, and Chief Compliance Officer in 2021. Prior to joining Fernweh Group, Dan was at Western Digital Corporation (NASDAQ: WDC) for over 17 years, most recently leading corporate strategy and development where he was responsible for WDC’s strategic and inorganic growth initiatives and WDC’s corporate venture investment arm, Western Digital Capital.

Mr. Flynn’s prior role at WDC was Assistant General Counsel, responsible for corporate governance, SEC compliance, commercial and intellectual property arrangements, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to WDC, Mr. Flynn was a corporate legal associate at several law firms, working with technology companies at varying stages, ranging from inception through exit.

Mr. Flynn received his JD, cum laude, from the University of San Diego School of Law, and his BS in biology from Loyola Marymount University.
